  Art Glass Mirrors
Art Glass Mirrors for Residentual and Business Environments
So here's the story behind my mirrors.

First off, I'm really into mirrors. When I was a kid, my mom had mirrors in almost every room in the house. Different mirrors were used in the bathroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom for a variety of effects. They provided depth to smaller the spaces and drama to the larger spaces while functioning as a traditional mirror. She also used them as design elements creating interest for wall decor by combining various shapes and sizes. Based on these experiences, I wanted to come up with a way to create a series of functional art glass mirrors. The idea was to develop a group of designs and fabricate them using various fused glass techniques I've developed over the years.

The glass frame color is selected based on how it reacts to light and how it harmonizes or contrasts with the design motif. The mounting system was engineered to keep the mirrors three quarters of an inch off the wall, creating a feeling the piece is suspended or floating over the wall surface and providing unusual dimensionality. Light passes through the glass art frame and casts colored shadows onto the wall or reflects light off the tiny glass particles (called frit) that are fused to the frame. The mirrors are easy to hang using standard picture hangers.
